Hourly Rates & Charges

Moves will be conducted on a “straight time” basis, with a minimum hourly charge plus actual travel time. The clock starts at the appropriate hourly rate when the movers leave the office location, and the clock stops when the movers return back to the office once they have unloaded at the customers’ new home.

Hourly Rates for Two Movers

Weekdays (Monday-Friday)………………..$109.00/hr (3 Hour min)

Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)…………$129.00/hr (4 Hour min)

Additional Movers (Per Person)…………………………….$40.00/hr

Fuel Surcharge

Master Movers charges $0.75 per mile. Total mileage will be accrued from the Master Moving office location to the final destination for unloading, as well as the return trip back to the Master Movers office.

Deposit

At the time of signing the Bill of Loading, a credit card number will be required to book the moving date. This card will NOT be charged at that time.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide Master Movers with at least 48 hours’ cancellation notice. Failure to do so will result in a penalty charge equal to the applicable minimum stated on the Bill of Lading.

Right to Decline

Master Movers reserves the right to decline, at its sole discretion, to move particular items because of their bulk or fragile nature.

Elevator or Stair Carry

Rejoice! Master Movers does not charge an additional fee for elevator or stair carry!

Excessive Distance or Long Carry Charges

Master Movers also does not charge an additional fee for carrying articles an excessive distance. (How awesome is that?)

Packing & Unpacking

Master Movers does not charge an additional fee for packing and unpacking! When we say “sraight time,” we mean it. The packing rate is the same as the hourly rate, plus the cost of packing materials and sales tax on the materials. We cannot be held responsible for items packed by customers. We treat every item as fragile, but we require that boxes containing fragile or breakable items be properly labeled.
