First Nation Moving System

Do NOT use this moving company, especially for cross the country moving. Like many of the 1 star reviews I was initially quoted $1800. When they got to my place I was told the amount would definitely be tripled than what I was quoted. What am I supposed to do when I had one day left to move out of my apt and had not packed a thing because they were supposed to. In the end I ended up paying about $5600+. My stuff was poorly packed. No kind of organization. No labeling. Different rooms were mixed together. I ended up having to leave more stuff than planned because the amount $ just kept going up. And the movers pressured to just leave stuff behind. It was ridiculous and I really hated that I chose them. They broke three of my items. My most expensive item was my tv and the insurance is only giving me $30 for. They took my tv out in the rain uncovered. And when I mentioned it he said it would be packed in the truck. My stuff arrived in a different truck than what it left my house in. So when my stuff arrived the 18 wheeler couldn’t get in the parking lot. It was mixed with other people’s belongings which I didn’t like at all. Because the truck was too big and they had to walk to get to my place they actually counted the steps and I had to pay on top of what I was quoted the second time. An additional $225 to the deliverer. If they had to move my stuff to another truck that would’ve been another fee. But why not transport it in the truck it left in? I didn’t ask for an 18wheeler. Read the fine print yall. This place isn’t worth it. For future reference here’s what I learned. The $1800 quoted was what I had to pay the deliverer. That was the standard ship rate for my pickup and drop-off location. The amount I paid $3800+ when they picked up my stuff was what First Nation charged. They claimed to go by square footage space your items take up. They do not include that in the quote. You tell them how many rooms and what items and how many boxes you’re taking. They don’t quote on that. Just the transporting fee. So you think you’re just going to pay $1800 and that is not the case. What I ended up bringing was exactly what I had on the quote. Maybe just five extra boxes. And my cost went from $1800 to $5600+. Please beware before putting a deposit down for this company or any company. Always ask for the additional cost and not just the shipping/transport fees. I had to learn the hard way. They only take cash which I’m sure is some kind of tax evasion. I had to pay either zelle or cash.

I can’t say enough about First Nation Moving. I never used a long distance mover before, so I went online to find someone. Number of companies called me back or emailed me but I found their quotes were just too high. Many companies charge you extra for things. But not these people. They supplied the extra packing materials to wrap the furniture. Before the move, they communicated with me through e-mails and phone calls to reassure me that everything would go smoothly. The movers were efficient, polite, fast and very helpful. Thank you again First Nation Moving! Keep up the good work!

They were on time, courteous and considerate crew. I was too late to hire a mover. But at the last moment I called First Nation Moving and they quickly gave me an accurate estimate over the phone. I got quotes from other movers also but, all of them were more expensive or not even available, finally I booked First Nation Moving. They did the pickup and delivery right on time and they were very fast. Most importantly they managed to hand over our belongings in good condition.

I strongly recommend First Nation Moving if you need a reliable moving service! They were very careful with everything and even fixed some pre-existing minor issues on some items – loose handle and poorly assembled IKEA desk drawer which I appreciated! Nothing was broken, and we had lots of fragile items. Thank you and I’ll be seeing you again when I move my things out of apt into my home.

It was truly a great relocation, absolutely remarkable. I am blown away how excellent their service was. They wrapped and buried every little thing and took unique treatment with my cinema TELEVISION. They were really cautious with all my things and assured that nothing delicate would be treated neglectfully. They kept their promises and made sure that no damage was done to my belongings. I am thankful to the sales rep and the movers of First Nation Moving.

We found First Nation Moving shortly after requesting moving prices online. They were the first company that called so I spent more time with them then some of the others that called after. It really showed me how serious they were. They were punctual with their times and had a staff full of employees that were all a part of our move. They were able to accommodate us with storage as well. We got a great deal and our sales representative even offered us a free month of storage. We saved more money using them than any other mover that was available. They treated us kindly and moved our stuff with care. Fantastic company.
